Santa Monica Vintage Fashion Expo

I Love everything 1920's and this Peach Velvet coat with the plush Fox collar and cuffs had my heart pounding. You know! you must have had status... it's sooo divine
All these hats, purses and the fabulous coats are from my beautiful friend April Wertz.  She sells the most amazing vintage. You can find pieces like 1880's purses, 1920's art deco French purses, a 1940's Coco Chanel suit and a 1980's Givenchi coat. She also has amazing jewelry; diamonds & pearls, that's all a girl needs. OK, maybe not because I definitely need my vintage Maxy psychedelic dress as well! You can find her on Ruby Lane - " Escape to Elegance" and on Etsy

This amazing patch leather coat, with Fox trim, is to die for. The colors are vibrant, you do need to be model height to rock this baby!

One of my favorites purses from Heavenly Handbags
This sweet purse with the butterfly is so unique, I almost took it home...

I would love to own some of them... check her website www.heavenlyhandbags.com

Susie Londoner from Vintazia, sells amazing 1950's to 1980's pieces, she also makes some great items like the pants she is wearing, check her Etsy store and shop 'til you drop!

Beautiful lady, dressed to impress at the show in her 1940's attire

Pretty 1950's prom dresses

From, Bushnell Fashions comes these earlier pieces from the 1920's "Speak Easy", what I love about these pieces are the color palettes and the romance that exudes from the delicate fabrics and lace.

I love color and these 'ginormous' flowers from the 1960's are perfect for the season
I can see myself with this fuchsia Go-Go dress and maybe with the orange feather hat if I dared and some sky high platform shoes, I am ready!

Even her little pooch is dressed to the nines!

This past weekend I went to the Santa Monica Vintage Fashion Expo , and checked out my favorite vendors. You can always find something you love and splurge a little. I always come back with something unique and timeless.  I meet some fabulous people that show some of their best vintage and hand-made items.
